The research of Dr Meredith Belbin in the late seventies led to the development of Belbin Team Roles, nine clusters of behaviour that individuals adopt when participating in a team.  During extensive experiments at Henley Management College it became clear that teams comprising a balanced mix of team roles outperformed unbalanced teams.

Today, the Belbin Team Role model is used by over 40 of the top 100 companies in the UK, by the United Nations and by thousands of organizations throughout the world to enhance individual and team performance.

The diagnostic and advisory information provided by the Belbin assessment reports has proved to be invaluable in:
